We have recently released Catalogue 58 - a Summer collection, with 295 recent acquisitions, including one of 25 copies on vellum of the Ashendene Ecclesiasticus from the publisher's own collection, a document signed by Oliver Cromwell giving orders to crush the Scots, the first English edition of Descartes's Discours de la Methode, a fine copy in original cloth of George Eliot's first book, Mervyn Peake's rare first book with an original drawing, and many other fine items.
