First Edition First Impression of the author’s first published book of fiction preceded by the poem Whoroscope and his essay Proust. This is certainly Beckett’s scarcest regularly published book.

8vo. Original tan cloth, titles to spine in blue, top edge stained tan. Very light spotting to the fore edge and the endpapers, spine very slightly rolled and with a little fading, some flaking to the spine lettering but almost negligible compared to most copies we have seen. Excellent.
