Second Edition and best being the first in this format. One of the greatest and most influential photographic books ever to have been published. The artist was by training a botanist - his use of extreme close-up technique began as part of his study. However he swiftly developed a fully fledged abstracted aesthetic which found a ready audience around the world. Many subsequent photographers cite this book as a key influence on their work. This loose leaf version is by far the scarcest of all of Blossfeldt’s publications and by a margin the most desirable.
