4to. Original ribbed black cloth, white paper title label to spine printed in black. Many photographic illustrations. Some quite severe foxing to several text leaves and to the margins of the plates, binding slightly marked, spine label a little tanned but a sound clean copy of one of the best assemblages of Evans’s work ever printed. Essentially based on the landmark exhibition of the photographer’s work held at M.O.M.A in the late ‘30s.
