First Edition Large Paper Issue. One of just 250 numbered copies with extra illustrations by Waugh and signed by him. A very difficult book to find in acceptable condition - this copy is lovely.

Large 8vo. Original purple cloth, device to upper board and titles to spine gilt, top edge gilt others untrimmed. With the dustjacket. Illustrated by the author. Small mark to the front free endpaper, spine and top edge of lower board very slightly faded a problem endemic to this publication and in this copy just about as good as it gets. In the very lightly tanned dustjacket with a number of short tears and some trivial loss at the tips.
