8vo (170 × 111 mm). Finely bound by The Chelsea Bindery in full crimson morocco, titles and elaborate decoration to spine gilt, raised bands, triple rule to boards with floral cornerpieces gilt, triple rule to turn-ins with floral cornerpieces gilt, plain dark green endpapers, all edges gilt. Without initial advert leaf, but with final adverts. With 6 black and white illustrations in the text by Charles Doyle. Faded signature at head of title page, small paper repair in gutter with loss of one words in two line ends on page 8, a very good copy.
