52 volumes, 4to. Bound in contemporary red half morocco, gilt on spine, raised bands, cloth boards with a ‘WHT’ gilt stamp, top edge gilt. Illustrated throughout. With all illustrations printed on India proof paper and laid onto the thicker text paper. All the illustrations in “The Christmas Books” are coloured. Some minor rubbing to some corners and some repairs to some volumes, overall a very good set.
